Some good long openings after 6pm on the 30th Central Vic - Nth NSW and Nth Qld.

Today, 31st, some weak openings in Adelaide and a breif opening to the U.S (or someone in Aus with a very American acsent !) in the morning and it appears to be opening up to the north again this afternoon.

Not bad considering we are a 0 Sunspots and the bottom of the cycle.

Had great local interstate rubbish for weeks now. Queensland, Tasmania, South Oz, NT, even Victoria. Waiting patiently for REAL DX to jump in.

Still hearing plenty of Australian wide DX in Melb.
Have heard a few talking to NZ if you count that as OS DX

Had a great chat to 251 COLIN about 100 ks sth Sydney just setting up all the good old gear from years ago to get back into it with the 5 element yagi booming out.

A local to him popped up - 103 ERIC so had a 3way QSO till faded.

JAY 161 bombing in out of his Mobile & 6' whip in Sydney reported moving to Bundaberg next week so will probably sitll be heard in Melb as quite a few Bundaberg stations on lately.

Sure that OS REAL DX is not far away!

Even had a few blurts out of WA in the last week or two. I seem to miss the real DX....you know ...OUTSIDE your home country. Never seem to be on when it happens. Oh well i'll catch up sooner or later....lol. Had a squizz at DX Cluster and all i see is... France to France...Italy to Italy.....Australia to Australia. What happenned to the good old days when DX was REAL DX? Not just local rubbish. I mean guys....local junk is just like making a 1800 phone call.
