27Mhz SSB / AM CB radio wanted

Hi guys I am Bill from Perth, Western Australia. I am in desperate need of a good reliable 27mhz CB radio with SSB.

Many years ago I was involved with CB radio emergency monitoring services here in Australia, spending many many hours monitoring the CB radio channels. Unfortunately I had to give this up due to having a young family .

My kids have all grown up and I am involved in monitoring Marine Radio, looking after our friends who voyage accross the big oceans for my local Sea Search and Rescue group. I have decided to also go back to monitoring the CB radios on both 27mhz and UHF CB. I have a UHF radio but no 27mhz CB.

Please if anyone here in Australia has a spare CB with both SSB / AM laying about I sure could use it here.

At the moment i don't think there would be too many offers of donating a radio to you as even the garbage PC122 is bringing outrageous dollars on ebay. In saying that i might be persuaded to part with an old 23 channel am/ssb i have here. It is a Hy Range V still in good working order complete with mic. It may suit you unless you wish to go above channel 23. Email me at hyperno_1979@yahoo.com if interested.
