Crucifix 5 Element Yagi in use by RS44 in Hobart Tasmania

Postby AX05 on Wed Dec 26, 2007 4:24 am

Just spoken to Robin RS44 in Hobart Tasmania who has an interesting design of a short boom yagi in the general configuration of a Crucifix Boom.

Designed in Italy of course!

A genuine short boom design with big signal and high rejection capabilities by the reports from Robin.

I think the general main boom length was about 2.5mtrs with the crucifix arm about 1.2 mtrs. The driven and other elements were as you might find on any other 5 element in length.

The orig design Gamma match was improved/replaced by Robin with a much more efficient Gamma and runs 1.1 on CB40.
